50th Anniversary Concert
The programme for the evening includes:
Academic Festival Overture - Brahms.
Clarinet Concerto - Finzi.
Symphony No. 5 - Shostakovich.
Gerald Finzi's Clarinet Concerto will be played by Robert Plane and the selection of this work is in part a tribute to a former conductor of the orchestra, Christopher Finzi.
