Beethoven - Quartet in F minor Op.95
The Fitzroy Quartet was formed in 2014 by four award-winning musicians from the UK, Italy and Slovenia. They are currently Chamber Music Fellows at the Royal Academy of Music for 2016/17.
The quartet recently won first prize in the Cavatina Intercollegiate Chamber Music Competition and also won the Wolfe Wolfinssohn Quartet Competition for their performance of Beethoven's Op.135 string quartet.
They were awarded the 2015 Sir John Barbirolli Memorial Prize for outstanding contribution to the Royal Academy and have been selected as the St. Peter’s Eaton Square Prize Winners 2015/2016.
