Kinetic, earth-shaking and with an electrifying live performance style, MOBO award-winners Sons of Kemet feature four of the UK jazz scene’s brightest stars, culminating in a revolutionary mix of music that spans jazz, rock, dub and Caribbean folk.
Led by saxophonist, clarinettist, composer and ‘BBC New Generation Artist’ Shabaka Hutchings, Sons of Kemet features Theon Cross on tuba and both Seb Rochford (Polar Bear, Babyshambles) and Tom Skinner (Melt Yourself Down, Mulatu Astatke) on drums.
