Patrick Monahan

Patrick Monahan appearing at this event

Winner of ITV's Show Me The Funny, this half-Iranian, half-Middlesbrough comic is a rising star on the comedy circuit. Full of an insatiable lust for life, his exuberant comedy greets the audience like a sex-starved spaniel would greet a trouser leg.

In 2012 he took part in Let’s Dance for Sports Relief on BBC, won Best Newcomer at the Loaded LAFTA Awards and Forth Radio Best Stand-Up People’s Choice Award for his hit show ‘Hug Me I Feel Good’. He played the role of the dastardly Captain Hook in ‘The Pantomime Adventures of Peter Pan’ at the Worthing Pavilion from December 2016 to early Jan 2017.

A natural-born performer, he exudes charisma from the stage (and often off it, when he scuttles into the crowd...!)

'High energy and conviction, his material is great; he's going to go far' (The Sunday Times)

'Omid Djalili meets Dave Allen' (Daily Mail)

'Monahan possesses the rare ability to be hilarious without being outrageous' (Three Weeks)

'The same mix of control and on-stage charisma as a young Alan Davies' (The Herald)

'Monahan is a supremely engaging performer, adored by his audiences and capable of some terrific comedy' (The Scotsman).

Patrick Monahan featured in Ents24's top hardest-working comedians list in 2018, 2017 and 2016.

Dawn Bailey

Dawn Bailey appearing at this event

Dawn is a forty something (ahem just turned 50) Mum who views life through happy specs and giddy knickers (her own words).

An original performer, Dawn won the XS Manchester Radio Comedian of the Year in 2016, which led to her presenting a show on the station

A likeable and affable nature, Dawn is a regular on the UK comedy circuit and performs for some of the most reputable promoters in the Country.

Dawn's honesty regarding life and love are raw, straight to the point and comes with a no-holds-barred delivery. She is a merry maker and definitely loves to have a damn good chuckle

Pin sharp anecdotes from a life juggling a career, kids, attending weekly slimming club meetings and the joys of involuntary flatulence... she's a very funny lady"- The BBC

Carl Jones

Carl Jones appearing at this event

After winning the Nottingham Comedy Festival ‘Newcomer to Comedy’ competition after just a handful of gigs, Carl has gone on to reach the semi finals of Amused Moose Laugh Off 2011, win both Manchester and Preston ‘Beat the Frog’ competitions at the first attempt and survived the dreaded gong at the Manchester Comedy Store. As a regular member of Nottingham’s top improvised comedy group ‘MissImp’, Carl can also be seen at their monthly residence at Nottingham’s ‘Glee Club’, bringing a unique brand of quick wit and occasionally rude, laddish humour to an otherwise enlightening and informative evening.
