This production is a contemporary adaptation of Lorca's 1930s classic play 'The House of
Bernarda Alba'. Yet still, Lorca's themes of social class divides, oppression and desire resonate with our lives to day. The adaptation transforms the Spanish tale to the aesthetically and socially demanding communities of modern day Liverpool.
