Krapp's Last Tape by Samuel Beckett and The Dumb Waiter by Harold Pinter
Krapp's Last Tape: A late evening. A wearish old man sits at a table on which is a tape recorder. He listens to his earlier life being described by a younger self and struggles to relate to this energy, this strong sense of anticipation. Where did it go?
Directed by Peter Russell.
The Dumb Waiter: Two men in a room, waiting. As we wait with them, we share their suspense, boredom and laugh-out-loud moments. Compelled to fill the threatening silence with trivial chat and banter, we see their struggle for power and the bizarre, meaningless nature of their lives. But something is waiting for them...
Directed by Jane Barth
