The Silent Majority Album Launch
Greg Russell & Ciaran Algar are one of the most sought after young acts on the folk music scene today. Playing a mixture of traditional and contemporary music from the British Isles, Russell and Algar are entering their fifth year of playing music together.
Combing Greg's powerful voice and guitar playing with Ciaran's engagingly empathetic and honest violin work, the pair won the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award in 2013. They went on to win the BBC Radio 2 Horizon award for best breakthrough act in 2014 and were nominated for the prestigious Best Duo Award, from the same source, in 2015.
They will be supported by Sam Kelly & Jamie Francis.
