Marisa And The Moths
"Sharp, chunky modern hard rock that makes you think of Halestorm, Foo Fighters and In This Moment, alongside touches of various classic rock heavyweights “ - Classic Rock Magazine, UK Issue 269 ? Marisa And The Moths are turning heads with their alternative rock sound and powerhouse female vocals. Their 2019 self-titled debut album received rave reviews from press outlets like Kerrang!, Classic Rock, Primordial Radio, and BBC Radio 2's Rock Show. ? The band kicked off 2023 with EP Damned If I Do, featuring singles Wither Away, Pedestal and If You Knew, giving listeners a taste of what is to come next as they lead up to their highly anticipated sophomore LP, What Doesn't Kill You set for release May 3rd 2024. They have also recently recorded a live session album at the iconic Abbey Road studios, which will be released later in 2024. ? Their collaboration single Won't You Come dropped November '23, alongside other singles by the likes of Lzzy Hale (Halestorm), Chris Robertson (Black Stone Cherry), Matt Heafy (Trivium), and Michael Starr (Steel Panther) - so she is in good company there! ? The band grew their fanbase exponentially from regular live-streaming and releasing music videos. They now have a whopping 90k followers just on Facebook alone and it's still growing. With previous headline tours under their belt, support slots for artists like Kris Barras Band, Von Hertzen Brothers, Those Damn Crows and As December Falls as well as appearances at festivals like 2000 Trees, Planet Rockstock and Primordial Radio's General Mayhem, Marisa And The Moths have really found their live "Je ne sais quoi" and are certainly a well oiled-machine when it comes to performing together.? ?
