Ben is a highly experienced and hugely well-respected stand-up. He’s been performing comedy since 1993 and is renowned for his incredibly relaxed stage persona and his innate ability to improvise as well as deliver sharply crafted material.
Other interesting facts about Ben: he’s the cousin of actor Martin Freeman and also the father of triplets (2 girls and a boy)
Ben’s TV credits include: “Mock the week” (BBC 1), “The Comedy Store” (Paramount and Comedy Central), “Never mind the Buzzcocks” (BBC 2), “They Think It’s All Over” (BBC 2)
He's written and performed three solo shows at The Edinburgh Festival: ‘Sitting room only’ (1997), ’Mr Ambiguousness’ (2013), and ‘Benny on the loose’ (2014) and was Ed Byrne’s tour support for his 2013 UK tour and appeared at the Apollo, Hammersmith.
Ben acted in a play developed with the ‘Comedians Theatre Company’ called ‘The last minutes’ which was broadcast on BBC Radio 4 in February 2014.
