From beloved children’s poets to writers of dialect, rhythmic poetry and prose, the exhibition showcases some of Britain’s best loved living poets, including Benjamin Zephaniah, Dame Carol Ann Duffy and Michael Rosen. Explore a series of striking portraits captured by acclaimed photographers including Madeleine Waller, Rizwan Mirza, and Donald MacLellan at the final tour venue of this exhibition.

Picture the Poet is a partnership programme between the National Portrait Gallery, the National Literacy Trust and Apples and Snakes, working in collaboration with six museum partners over three years.
