Kim Moore

Acclaimed poet Kim Moore will lead a workshop exploring how we can write about encounters and visitations in poetry, looking at examples from contemporary poets of what happens when something or someone wanders in from outside and enters the poem. Come prepared to read poems and write your own.

Kim Moore lives and works in south Cumbria. Her first full poetry collection, The Art of Falling, was published by Seren this year. She was runner-up in Lakeland Book of the Year 2013 with If we Could Speak Like Wolves. She won a New Writing North Award in 2014. She works part-time as a peripatetic brass teacher.
