La'al Big Band, Cumbria Dance

Carlisle Music Society presents Thanks For The Memory. Come and sing along to a collection of old time musical hall and swing music. Some of the old favourites, such as I’m Shy Mary Ellen, You Are My Honeysuckle, Daisy and numerous others, will have you swaying in your seats.

Special guests include the La’al Big Band from West Cumbria, playing some of the best known swing numbers, and Cumbria Dance showing you how to do the fabulous Lindy Hop! If you know how to do it feel free to join in and get those aisles rocking! Comperes for the evening are the inimitable duo from Radio Cumbria, Harry King and Mike Zeller.
