Stan And Mabel And The Race For Space (Schools Concert): Ensemble 360

Devised collaboratively by children’s author and illustrator Jason Chapman and Music in the Round’s Children’s Composer-in-Residence Paul Rissmann, this original story is brought to life in an interactive classical concert performed by Ensemble 360 and narrated by Music in the Round’s Resident Animateur Polly Ives.

Stan and Mabel and the Race for Space tells the story of a music-loving dog and cat, Stan and Mabel, who are joined by a whole carnival of animals in their escape from the School for Wild and Dangerous Animals, in search of a safe place to call their home.

The follow up to Music in the Round’s hugely popular original commission Stan and Mabel (2013), the family concert includes projected images and videos and irresistibly catchy songs with actions, ideal for engaging young children in high quality music, as well as firing up their imaginations.

Suitable for ages 3+
