Laura Cannell, Bragod, Toby Hay

Laura Cannell’s solo music is made with violin and recorder and takes influence and/or shares some common ground with traditional British folk, early music, mid-20th century minimalism and modern experimental sounds.

Bragod are a duo who play Welsh medieval and renaissance music on lyre and crwth, with vocals based on Welsh poetry dating from the sixth to 19th century.

Toby Hay's instrumental folk meanderings are very much in the post-John Fahey, American Primitive style, with shades of John Renbourn and James Blackshaw.
