Gwdihw are delighted to present Fado da Alma - a night celebrating Portuguese grooves, culture and food!

With long-time friend of the venue Elhyo (formerly of Junior Bill) they've put together a night capturing as much as they love about Portugal as possible - with Live Portuguese/latin music from 3 n'1, Fado, Portuguese DJs spinning Iberian club and latin grooves and street food from Pregos Street Food, they’ll be exploring the finest in Portuguese life in Fado da Alma!

Meaning destiny or fate, Fado is a beautifully expressive and melancholy form of Portuguese music started in 1820s. 'Alma' means soul and character.
