Black Peaches, Jack Ellis

Black Peaches is the new project from Rob Smoughton (long-time member of Hot Chip and Scritti Politti, aka Grovesnor). Drawn from the swamp and the delta, the Peaches’ music is gloriously loose-limbed and strung-out, a psychotropic stew of country boogie, spiritual jazz and funk.

Support comes from Jack Ellis who was picked by the Forte Project as one of their artists for 2017. Airplay on BBC Wales has already culminated in a live session on Dermot O'Leary's BBC Radio 2 show.
