Harrison Birtwistle and the Arditti Quartet have worked together for over twenty years.

The Quartet will perform Birtwistle’s complete works for the string quartet to celebrate the publication of a collection of essays edited by three members of the School of Music celebrating the work of Sir Harrison Birtwistle, one of the key figures in European contemporary music.
