Remembering Dannie Abse

The Welsh Academy, the national society of writers in Wales, is proud to announce an evening
celebrating the life and works of a true literary giant, Dannie Abse.

The evening features readings by Gillian Clarke, Cary Archard, Tony Curtis and Lynne Hjelmgaard. To further commemorate Dannie Abse’s writing, Welsh publishing house Graffeg will present a special edition poster of Abse’s celebrated poem, Return to Cardiff.

The evening includes a two-course dinner. Booking is required and spaces are limited.
