SUBWAY Helping Hearts Family 5K

British pole-vaulter Holly Bleasdale is encouraging local families in Cardiff to put on their trainers and get involved in the 2014 SUBWAY Helping Hearts™ Family 5K series. Back bigger and better this year, the series will see 12 events take place up and down the country from May to September.

Taking place in Bute Park on Sunday 22nd June, the SUBWAY Helping Hearts™ Family 5K event – run in conjunction with national charity Heart Research UK - is open to all ages and abilities with participants encouraged to walk, run or push their way around the course. The event is part of the SUBWAY® brand’s efforts to inspire families to live healthier and more active lifestyles.

Kids under 12 go free and early bird registrations for the rest of the family are just £5.99 each. With lots of free, fun activities on the day, to help keep the kids entertained with face-painting and a bouncy castle, it really is the perfect day out for the whole family to enjoy.
