On the first Wednesday of every month it’s Gwdihw’s long-established boutique folk night – Folk in the Owl’s Nest.

Bringing gorgeous acoustic arrangements, captivating melodies and delicately thought out storytelling, we showcase local and far away talent in our cosy front room for your pleasure.

We’re delighted to welcome back one of our FITON favourites – an ever changing, multi-band renaissance man, Harri Davies, to headline March’s FITON. Having been a member of both Cardiff Afrobeat kings Afrocluster and jazz, blues and funk providers Moondog, it would have been forgiven if Harri had been satisfied with that soulful-lot in the South Wales music scene.

However, a constantly busy songwriter, he has also garnered a following amongst the songwriter scene for his soulful, rhythmic acoustic originals, as well as a string of Folk, Pop & Jazz inflected work too.

We can’t wait to hear him live again as he heads towards the release of his debut album this year.
