Gwdihw are delighted to invite some of Cardiff’s finest songwriters to delve into their musical inspirations and share with you the muses and moments behind their work at a regular evening, Songbook.

Welcome back the understated, subtly expressive singer-songwriter of Nanook of the North, Joe Bayliss. A regular to the Gwdi stage with good reason, never saying no to sitting back and feeling the texturous, quietly melodic intricacies of his work.

Alongside him will be Nia Ann, Eleri Angharad and Evie Rowlands, performing a collection of the songs they’ve written which mean the most to them and telling stories of the creative stimuli and circumstances which brought these tunes to life.
