Tales of Adriamus

Adriamus is a group of professional musicians who specialise in creating musical events for children. Their performances include plenty of audience participation. Their aim is to show how music can touch on your emotions and enhance the telling of stories.
They work in collaboration with the children’s author and illustrator Anthony Browne, (former Children’s Laureate.) The programme includes some musical versions of his Willy the Wimp stories, complete with projected images from the books. Willy is a ‘wimpy’ chimp who builds himself up to face the world, only to find that he is the same person inside.
Join the Adriamus Ensemble for some musical games and storytelling. See how their music adds to Anthony Browne’s Willy the Wimp stories. Meet Anthony himself and play some drawing games with him. Come ready to join in with this hour of musical fun.
Followed by a free family workshop for attendees only. Booking required due to limited capacity.
