Peter Churchill, Mishka Adams Quintet

Philippines-born Mishka Adams embraced art and music from an early age studying piano, and saxophone to a high level.

Whilst working as a singer in Manila she was signed to Candid Records in the UK. She helped develop the accomplished London Vocal Project with Pete Churchill and ran a regular residency at London’s Vortex.

Originally trained in Canada, pianist/composer/educator/singer Pete Churchill has been based in England since 1985. Having completed almost twenty years teaching at the Guildhall School of Music, he is now Professor of Jazz Composition at the Royal Academy of Music.

Saxophonist and composer Mark Lockheart came to prominence in Loose Tubes from where he has gone on to record and perform with a host of exceptional artists in the UK and abroad.
