Oxley-Meier Guitar Project - Spinning Tales
Pete Oxley, Nicolas Meier guitars etc. Emerging from the highly original quartet Eclectica! these two well-established guitarists released their first live duo album Travels To The West in 2012.
Their latest studio album Spinning Tales draws on a wider sound palette which they aim to recreate at their live dates using nylon string, electric, steel string, acoustic and electric 12 string and glissentar (11-string fretless) guitars.
Expect a dazzling musical display ranging from Turkish panache to soundscapes of Latin America to English pastoralism, all using a wide variety of interesting and unusual stringed instruments.
