Allographic Workshop: Constrained Writing With Leanne Moden

Allographic has three forms of live event - “Other Voices”, open mic with featured guests every 4th Sunday of the month; “Allographic presents...”, a loose series of events with bigger names from the spoken word scene, and a burgeoning set of workshops for aspirant poets, storytellers, and other writers and performers.

Attendees of the workshop should consider putting their new-found skills into practice at our evening event. Find out more at www.facebook.com/events/436251909908794/

Leanne Moden has performed her poetry everywhere, from community centres and secondary schools to the Aldeburgh Poetry Festival, Bestival, and the Royal Albert Hall. She is a founding member of the ’28 Sonnets Later’ collective, and also performs as part of the ‘DIY Poets’. As part of her year as Fenland Poet Laureate in 2013, Leanne co-founded the Fen Speak spoken word poetry nights, before running off to Nottingham to seek her fortune.

Leanne’s second pamphlet ‘Liaisons’ was published by Stewed Rhubarb Press in January 2015, and she currently writing her first live literature show. She is obsessed with univocalisms, and her poetry has been described variously as ‘fucking hilarious’ and ‘completely unacceptable’.
