Sam James Hill

One of our first ever Gallery Bar Special performers back in 2010, veteran Scottish singer songwriter Sam Hill Jr is back on the road promoting his latest album. Sam has been performing for over three decades and has recorded as artist and producer with an impressive list of top drawer musicians in the UK and USA. For many years Sam worked on albums and live performance with violinist Richard Curran (known for his work with Bert Jansch, Steve Tilston and Albert Lee) and Alan Gregson (producer of Cornershop). Sam’s music nods towards bluegrass and folk but is hard to put into any one box.
