The Maiden in the Tower by Jean Sibelius (1865-1957) is an opera in one act with libretto by Rafael Hertzberg and sung in a new English translation by Rodney Blumer, with side-titles.
Kashchei the Immortal by Nikolay Rimsky-Korsakov (1844-1908) is an autumn fairy-tale in one act with libretto by the composer and sung in a new English translation by Rodney Blumer, with side-titles.
Part of a feast of opera, music and literature, set in the beautiful Peak District.
