Zimbe! / Mass of the Children
Stowmarket Chorale perform Zimbe! accompanied by the composer Alexander L’Estrange and his Jazz Quintet. This celebration of African music combines traditional songs with jazz, Western choral and pop influences, and is sung by an adult 4-part chorus and unison children’s choir. Mass of the Children by John Rutter is sung in Latin and accompanied on the piano by William Baldry.
