Guateque, Levi Cano

The Salsa Picnic will be served from 7:00pm with live guitar music starting at 8:00pm. Guateque will perform their repetoire of salsa, changui, cha-cha-cha, bembe and rumba from 8.45pm until 11.30pm.

The menu for the Cuban Salsa Picnic will be a choice of meat, fish or vegan.

Chicken Thighs in Adobe, Red Mojo Marinated Red Snapper Fillet, and Green Chilli and Spicy Quorn Doughnuts ( a vegan dish created especially for this event).

Served with Havana black beans and rice salad, grilled ripe plantains and avocado, grilled pineapple and watercress salad and cuban bread with a garlic savoury chocolate spread.

Individual disheswill be available from £2.00 to £5.00, with a Cuban Picnic Platter for £10.00.

Also, a choice of desserts: Tres Leches Cake or sweet Cuban pastries with fillings such as "pastelito de guayaba" for £4.00.
