Steam Footplate Experience - Bronze

Ideal for those who want adventure to distant horizons, at speed and under the power of steam!

The next step up from a simple ride on the footplate and a more challenging experience for the adventurous soul, this full day course will see you take full control of the locomotive on a round journey along the line.

Each experience includes:
Safety briefing and basic instruction,
Half-day driving and firing for 16 miles and travel for a total of 32 miles,
Lunch for participant with option to include guests,
Half-day guided tour behind the scenes of the ELR,
Photographic opportunities,
A commemorative certificate.
