About the show

Permission to hold a June fair in Winterbourne was granted in 1393 by King Richard II to Blanche, descendent of Sir Thomas de Bradeston who had the Barn built in 1342. Winterbourne Medieval Barn is delighted to be upholding that tradition more than 600 years later!
So come along and experience a recreation of some medieval festivities in and around a genuine medieval barn. There is something for all ages. Watch the Warwick Warriors' armed combat displays, enjoy live medieval music performances, laugh with the wandering jesters, have a go at Archery or Knight School, explore The Company of Chivalry's tented village and see their demonstrations about aspects of medieval life. There will be a programme of activities throughout the day alongside a range of artisan craft stalls where you can watch some of the artists at work. Enjoy traditional games and competitions for children, plus delicious food and drink on offer all day.
Free parking at Winterbourne Academy (High Street) with a free shuttle bus running up and down to the Barn all day. Fold-up buggies etc are fine. No parking on Church Lane itself as this obstructs local traffic and emergency vehicles. Buses Y1 and Y6 run along Winterbourne High Street. There is space for bicycles on site.
Early bird tickets booked by 14 June are £5 for adults (£5.39 including Ticketsource fee) , £1 for children (aged 3-16yrs). After that £7/£2
