BFP Carnival Workshops For Young People

Over the summer the Bristol Festival of Puppetry have been working with a Young Curators Group and Young Bristol to research the stories and historical characters that have shaped the history of the festival hub, Tobacco Factory, and the changing fortunes of its local area – Southville. These stories and characters are now shaping the themes and stories for this year’s BFP Carnival.

For this workshop they are inviting young people ages 12-16 to come and join in, get inspired and make a one-off creation for the carnival on Saturday 29 August from 12pm noon.

This workshop is just for young people, no parents or adults allowed!
