Celebrating Cary Grant's birth in Bristol.

Slapstick joins up with the Cary Grant Comes Home festival to celebrate the birthdate of the Bristol-born star by showing on of the two screwball comedies he appeared in with Mae West. Chock full of double-entendres, West plays Lady Lou, a saloon singer with many male admirers, including Captain Cummings (Grant), who saves her from a jealous former lover who's escaped from prison. Famous for containing one of the most misquoted lines in film history, this is classic comedy at it's bawdy and breezy best.
