A sight gag filled homage to silent film comedy from the Oscar-winning French master clown Pierre Etaix, the recipient of the Aardman/Slapstick Visual Comedy Award 2012. It is the story of a billionaire with everything except his lost true love – a circus artiste – and what happens when he finds her. Playing two roles as well as directing, Etaix’s YOYO won the Cannes Best Picture prize in the year of the film’s release. With an introduction by Etaix fan, compatriot and silent film expert Serge Bromberg.
