The Skimmity Hitchers

"As regular hitchers will know, we don't do many pub gigs these days, cos the doctor told Magners he has to stay away from pubs.... However, back in August The Star, Fishponds pub in Bristol opened its doors to 40 cider heads and let us film a video for The Dreadnoughts' latest single, Back Home In Bristol.

So when Eimear at the Star asked if we could play at their big folk weekend at the end of November, we could hardly say no could we? That fact that it's Tatty and Magners' local is neither here nor there.

There's a folk session in the front bar form 5pm then the full Skimmity experience will be unleashed in the skittle alley from 9pm. See you there..."
