Sunday 19th April brings you one The Square Club's most popular events. Live jazz, board games and a hearty roast dinner - That's Velvet Sundays.

It's the time in the week to recline in the boutique Square lounge. Surround yourself with friends and family and make the most of our colourful and cosy furnishings. Familiarise yourself with a classic board-game accompanied by a glass of red from our extensive wine list.

All the more, take in the dulcet sounds of our hand-picked jazz performers over a traditional roast lunch, served with giant yorkshires.

Each Velvet Sunday Lunch session welcomes a new talented jazz artist.

On this occasion we will be joined by Tangle Club. It's latin jazz led by Bristol Jazz veteran Craig Crofton on soprano sax. Joining them will be world renowned violinist John Piers.

Performing two jazzy sets for our Velvet Sunday lunchers between 12:30pm - 1:30pm and 2 - 3pm.
