An evening of quirky, mellifluous, humorous a cappella singing.

Have you ever heard 5 men singing Screamin’ Jay Hawkins, Marvin Gaye, Dr Seuss and The Beach Boys in one night?

If the answer is yes, then you must be familiar with Bristol’s own a capella combo, Kettle Of Fish.

Looking for an opportunity to arrange and sing the more unusual songs of the popular idiom, David Yapp enlisted his singing friends Adam Barber (co arranger), Neil Bett, John Drowley and Jorge Sved. Having added many new arrangements during their musical evolution, their repertoire now ranges from the well-known and well-loved to the comical and the undiscovered gems, the witty and the moving, the sublime and most definitely the ridiculous. Elvis Presley, Daft Punk, Graham Coxon, The Bee Gees, Icelandic Folk Singers, Michael Jackson, They Might Be Giants and other lesser known artists form the strangest line-up that would ever be seen at Glastonbury but will quite probably all make appearances at a Kettle Of Fish gig.

At times strangely beautiful, at other times beautifully strange and often just silly, this is a night of a capella wonders.
