The Montgomerys make their return to The Old Bookshop where they'll be joined by Bristol based folk duo Roaring Meg.
The Montgomerys
Their sound is a unique mix of three part vocal harmony, rowdy drumming and fuzzed out guitar solos, all at the heart of which lie catchy melodies; its roots rock and country twang but played with a swagger.
Roaring Meg
Brand new folk roots duo Roaring Meg utilise a number of instruments at their shows. Swapping guitars with eachother mid set, they also bring out accordions and violins which drive the music into the realms of sea shanties and lost melodies.
