City Ideas Studio

Exhibition and events programme beginning Friday 1 May through 2015

To celebrate Bristol’s year as European Green Capital 2015 we are transforming the Architecture Centre gallery into a ‘City Ideas Studio’ – a year-long hub where people from all parts of the city can come together to explore solutions for a sustainable future through exhibitions, workshops, talks and events. Collaborating with partners from across the city and beyond, the City Ideas Studio will be a place of production, interaction and engagement and a catalyst for green ideas and action.

The City Ideas Studio programme is based around the key themes of Bristol Green Capital - Nature, Transport, Resources, Food and Energy - presented through a series of exhibitions, studio residencies and events. For each theme, the Ideas Studio will showcase national and international projects alongside the work of local innovators and special ‘pop-up’ guests. A parallel events programme will include talks, debates and family activities.
