Take 527: A Bristol Debut

One year to the day of their first visit to Bristol, Glasgow based soundsystem 527 have decided to bring the heat to the southwest home of bass.

An eclective collective of talented DJs and musicians crafted the 'wee system' in a kitchen, and since those days it's travelled around with them to monthly 'Dub and Grub' sessions several festivals, secret three day parties in castles, ships, forrests and now to Take 5 Cafe in the heart of Stokes Croft.

527 is a growing group of DJs, designers, builders and artists focused around the ever expanding and changing 527 Soundsystem. Owing to the varied tastes of our DJs and friends they play a kaleidoscopic mix of dub, hip-hop, bass, house, disco, afro-beat, latin and beyond. Expect a clean and heavy sound, climbing from deep dark dubstep to heady disco heights.
