Steve Knightley

Steve Knightley, frontman of 'Show of Hands', has been out on the road since January 2014 with his 100 date "Grow Your Own Gig" project. He has travelled from Cornwall to The Borders, bringing a collection of songs about those who live and work in the countryside to new venues, challenging a new generation of promoters to turn their community buildings into music venues for a night. St George's is very pleased to be hosting the final night of what has been an eighteen month tour!

This gig is also the curtain raiser for the Bristol Folk Festival.

Profits from the concert will go to the Anthony Nolan Trust - a pioneering charity that saves the lives of people with blood cancer and uses their register to match individuals willing to donate their bone marrow to a complete stranger.
