Sarah Outen

Sarah Outen is welcomed to the stage for the fifth instalment of the annual 'Going Beyond' adventure talk series.  In 2009, at just 24 years old, Sarah became the first woman and youngest person to row solo across the Indian Ocean, raising £30,000 for charity.
 
In 2011, she embarked on her ‘London2London: Via the world’ journey that will see her complete a 25,000-mile journey across Europe, Asia, North America - and both the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans - by rowing boat, bike and kayak. And four years on, she is still going.
