Catrin Finch

Not many artists have combined being personal harpist to the Prince of Wales with award-winning classical and world music careers. Her 2014 album with the Senegalese kora player Seckou Keita, Clychau Dibon, won plaudits from Roots and Songlines and this live tour of its solo successor, Tides, represents another new departure: the first time Catrin has presented an evening of her own compositions, accompanied by a specially formed string ensemble.

With a theme that stretches from the coast of west Wales where she grew up, to the charity with which she now works, Water Aid, ‘Tides’ promises to be a really rich and diverting experience full of string-driven beauty.
