"Beethoven tells you what it’s like to be Beethoven and Mozart tells you what it’s like to be human. Bach tells you what it’s like to be the universe” - Douglas Adams

Fresh from a successful run in London, Bach, the Universe and Everything mixes some of Bach’s greatest music with ground-breaking talks from the world of physics and astronomy.

This first event in Bristol is a bumper double-header, with two talks looking up into the night sky to explore distant worlds and how one day we might reach them. The concert’s music is built around two of Bach’s finest cantatas, the sacred vocal music he wrote almost every month for the churches where he worked.

With inspiration readings and additional music from Bach’s contemporaries, it’s a place where you can bond with music lovers and unravel the mysteries of our universe.
