The Full English Project: Folk Song In England Study Day

Full English is the world's biggest free digital archive of traditional English folk and dance music.

This one-day course is aimed at those who want to learn more about the roots and development of traditional English folk music. Hear rarely-played field recordings of singers from across the country and watch archival film as you learn about the historical, social and personal contexts of folk singing.

The course is followed by a special concert featuring Seth Lakeman, Martin Simpson and others. Folk singer Fay Hield has trawled The Full English collection, creating new work and arrangements that will be performed live at this celebratory event.
