Art 4 Our Sake is a 2-day conference examining the role of arts, particularly music, and so called ‘soft subjects’ in relation to our mental health. In particular we will be looking at bullying and its increasing profile in all walks of life and how we can better combat it. Through a series of panels, discussion groups and workshops we will explore and inform. We have contributors from the world of music, arts and mental health sharing their experiences and their knowledge.

The conference is made up of a symposium at Colston Hall on Saturday 5th October with panels, taster sessions and workshops and includes life acoustic performances in the foyer. This is followed by a series of workshops and activities at Barton Hill Settlement on Sunday 6th covering a wide range of arts and mental health projects.

Further details will be announced on our website www.a4os.co.uk and on our Facebook page.

Attendance for the Saturday is £10 full price, £5 concessions and 16 and under free.

Workshops at Barton Hill are individually priced.

Details available on application. The conference is part of a programme of events including live music performances at Zed Alley and Mr Wolf’s. Festival wide tickets are also available.

For ticket enquiries please contact Colston Hall box office. For workshop enquiries please contact a4os@jumpingjoint.co.uk
