Air, A Baroque Journey
The violinist stormed the Bristol Proms last year, so this year Daniel Hope takes us on a special journey-up until the year 1766, that is.
When Daniel Hope performed Max Richter's landmark recomposition of Vivaldi's Four Seasons at The Bristol Proms in 2013, it caused a sensation. Rapturously received by the critics and hugely enjoyed by a sell-out audience, it's a tough act to follow.
But this year, Hope has a different proposition for the Bristol Proms. In this Baroque Journey, Hope will take the audience on a tour of his favourite music from the period, up until the year 1766, when the Bristol Old Vic Theatre was first built.

Part of #BristolProms. Last year's inaugural Bristol Proms - exploring the possibilities of digital technology and encouraging the audience to relax and participate - struck a new path towards the future of classical concerts.
Daniel Hope
A violin star with a wonderful rich sound. 'Nothing short of radiant' (The Daily Telegraph).
