Now in its 13th year, the Cajun & Zydeco Festival brings the sounds of the Louisiana bayous to Bristol. This year's fabulous line-up includes visitors from Germany/France as well as top UK bands playing a mixture of traditional and modern cajun and zydeco.
The weekend also includes top class cajun and zydeco dance tuition from Kay Anderson, Dennis Parnham and Liz Manners and expert DJ/MCing from Lil’ Queenie and Flying Home from Swamprock Club, London.
In addition to this, there will be jam sessions, the licensed bar will be open throughout and home
cooked food will be available during lunchtimes and early evenings.
The festival attracts an international audience and is a friendly gathering of people, many of who
come year after year. Tickets are pre-bookable and any unsold will be available at the venue
during the weekend.
