Arnos Vale Cemetery is the place of remembrance for an estimated 160,000 women and girls. The lives of women in times past often elude the historic record. But where historical evidence can be found, the lives they led and the contributions they made to society, are compelling stories. At Arnos Vale Cemetery we set the historic record straight with a special guided tour focusing on the great and good women remembered here from Victorian, Edwardian and 20th Century Bristol who "made it happen".
