Time of the Month South West is like a meet up/mini-workshop and gig all smooshed together in the warm and welcoming basement of Bishopston's artiest bar.

Meet like-minded women with a passion for comedy and get the skinny on the world of comedy locally and beyiond.

This Month:
Pimp My Five!
Sometimes the thing your comedy needs is another pair of eyes. This is a great way to find those extra little jokes that can make the magic, or work out why that bit just isn't working. Bring your tightest five, or your first five - and we'll have a peer review session in small groups, then you can try out the new changes in front of our supportive audience (or go into rewrites with new vigour at home).

SHOWTIME: 8.00pm, free!

Funny Women knows that comedy can be scary, so this night provides a platform for women to get on stage and perform comedy for the first time. Even if you're already a regular on the circuit, Time of the Month is a great night to try out new material in front of a warm and supportive audience.
